The Test of Corporate Purpose (TCP)
On September 25, 2020, a coalition of institutional investors representing over $1 trillion in assets, publicly traded companies, NGOs, and corporate sustainability subject matter experts launched the Test of Corporate Purpose (TCP) initiative during COVID-19 and the inequality crisis sweeping the country.
The New York Times, ABC News, and others covered the groundbreaking 98-page Report. During this unprecedented stress test of corporate purpose and stakeholder governance, TCP assessed the performance of 600+ large, publicly traded companies on their response to the pandemic and inequality crisis.
